Forcing people to register to your site so they can have access to someone else's work... unbelievable. LOL
lol me - it is my work, the enb mod is not made by me, the configuration of the tweak that uses this HDR Mod is - as for forcing someone to register, no one is forcing anyone - the same way no one forces anyone to register here, I am just sharing it here, the website has 54,000+ members, you are welcome to join them. had AVSIM fixed already its uploads, I would also upload it here:

For the most important tweaks in the ini file, read this topic (from April this year) on the Orbx FTX forum. That topic was inspired by another topic on this forum btw...! In these topics you will find a link to a file with an FSX-specific ini. Use that one instead of the GTA-related ini: it will save you a lot of time changing a lot of entries!

Ah, well, while I am at it... You can find the FSX-specific version here. No need to register! It's a direct downloadlink.

The most important tweaks (in the ini from the FSX-file) are:

BloomMaxLimit=85 (default 100 is a bit too much bloom)

DarkeningAmountDay=20 (default 40 makes things a bit too dark)

DarkeningAmountNight=15 (default -30 makes things way too light at night)

ColorSaturationDay=1 (bumps up the colors just a little bit)

These are used and changed the most. A lot of the entries in the ini don't work with FSX or only make things worse, so... get the FSX file from the link above and play with the settings I posted. In the topics I linked to, you will find some other tweaks and info that might be interesting for you.

It's a great free addon: I don't and won't fly without it anymore.

I don't know how I had missed this originally. Thanks for posting and thanks for the links and info, J van E!

j van e: that link you posted is just the default settings. there are no ini changes in there...

Aha, well, could be, there are a lot of version floating around the internet. I found out some people used a version which had a lot of totally different settings than the ones found in these and had lots of trouble gettings things working well. Could well be they had yet another version. Anyway, the version I linked to, default or not, works best with FSX and you only have to change a few settings (if you don't like the defaults). If it's the same as the one in the OP, well, that's no problem, because 'mine' is a direct link that doesn't need registration. ;)

Do i always have to press Shift+F12 when i starting fsx?

Do i always have to press Shift+F12 when i starting fsx?

No, I believe it either starts on the setting you left it last, or always starts with it on.

How did you manage to dig out an '09 thread? :P

I'm not sure because it's slways off when i starts it :S

Lol i only "googled"

Do i always have to press Shift+F12 when i starting fsx?

There is a setting that controls this behavior under the [GLOBAL] section in the enbseries.ini file:

UseEffect=1 No Shift+F12 needed. ENB is always enabled by default.

UseEffect=0 You have to press Shift+F12 to enable ENB effects every time you exit and re-enter the 3D world, e.g. to change aircraft or to go fullscreen/windowed.

Aah okey, thanks :)

But every time i'm sitting in the 2D panel and

Open the ovhd panel every ting goes white for like 1 sek, it's pretty annoying.. :S

a more natural light version of the ENB Mod, included is the d3d9.dll and enbseries.ini, to activate/de-activate, press SHIFT+F12fsx%20enb%20mod.jpg

PLEASE NOTE: EVGA GTX 670 OWNERS USING Win 7 64 bit - w Precision X software installed -

If getting Fatal Crash in Win 7 64 bit and FSX with ENB files inserted, then unload Precision X before running FSX - it's causing my system to crash on command. Took me days to issolate it, but I got it!

Enjoy ! hope it helps others! It was annoying!

Thanks
