August 27, 200916 yr G'day all,I have PDMG running 737-600/700 and also 744.I use navigraph for my AIRAC downloads and have the no CD patch etc for the fs9.Today I bought and downloaded PDMG 738 and recevied a message when trying to install it.."FS9 version 9.1.0.40901 (FS9.1 at least) is required. You only have version 9.0.0.30612. Please install FS9.1 or later to use this product."Would appreciate help regarding the appropriate download as I went to Microsoft and downloaded what I thought was the fs9.1 version and still get the same message....Thanks in anticipation..Davo

August 28, 200916 yr Guys,Now I have it all running I have encountered the next problem.I downloaded the livery of my preferred company and it downloads fine, it then is installed and I get an error message at the end of the installation process saying it could not be opened. I then checked within the simulation and the option for livery is definitely not available...Any help as always much appreciated.Regards,Dave-
September 1, 200916 yr another problem...I seem to have all the issues sorted out except one..When i load the FMC and configure for a 5 degree flap takeoff i use the load manager to amend the weights and then FS2004 menu to manually adjust the weight so the two weights appear to agree. Then when i take off and select gear up, I immedietely get an overspeed indication on the PFD with the red bricks...This one has me stuffed, I have no idea!!Help!!!Dave
September 1, 200916 yr Hi,This one is just down to how and when you use the load manager. Before opening FS9 I usually have arrived at my loading by use of the load manager.Save the file at this point and then fire up FS9.Load the default aircraft and then the 737 place at gate at the take off airfield. The only outstanding item is your fuel, for which a handy fuel calculator is available from the PMDG site,it loads the fuel also.Fire up the aircraft systems and then sort out the FMC with the route. On the performance page type in your ZFW and cruise level and any other stuff which is applicable, execute then move on to the N1 page ,put in any derate temperature, move on to the final page, select your take off flaps and get your take off speeds. You are finished!Do not use the FS9 fuel and payload manager to adjust any PMDG loadings/Fuel as strange aircraft behaviour will result.Brief description but I hope that it helpsNorman Norman Bowman
September 1, 200916 yr Then when i take off and select gear up, I immedietely get an overspeed indication on the PFD with the red bricks...Do an advanced search in this forum for red bricks, this is a problem that occurs if the guages.ini file is corrupt but I don't remember if that is the exact file name or not.The load manager for the 737NG is not required for fuel, and I think you can use it for payload as well. As this is a holdover from FS2002 the weight and balance is not as tricky as it had to be for the 747/MD11. Dan Downs KCRP
