September 9, 200916 yr Hi there,I'm very interested in buying the J41, but I would like to know before buying it how it compares FPS-wise with the LDS 767 in FSX. Can anyone give me a indication of the FPS in the J41 (with normal resolution and high resolution instruments) compared to the FSX LDS 767?Thanks,Justin
September 9, 200916 yr I would also be intrested in FPS between the two...but I have a question...which is more complex, the J41 or the LDS? Danny
September 9, 200916 yr I have both. I would say the performance is about the same on my machine. C2D E6850 @ 3.0 GHz. Both are quite flyable on my computer which I would say is very average for FSX.As for which is more difficult, hard to say, they are very different and each requires an understanding of the various systems. I would say that the J41 is a challenge for those that are accustomed to Boeing/Airbus addons as the engine mgmt is something you really don't need to think about in those aircraft.Mark. Mark CYYZ

That's very encouraging. I have an i7 920. Anyone with a similar machine who can comment?
September 9, 200916 yr Justin,I'm running on the machine listed in my signature and I can maintain a locked 30FPS in the JS41. This aircraft is a thing of beauty trying to compare this A/C and the Level-D 767 is like comparing apples to oranges especially when you get into the VC detail.Regards,Bob Modrowski

Sold!PS - The LDS 767 is a thing of timeless beauty, no matter how old it is!!!
September 9, 200916 yr I too have the LDS767 and the JS41. I can also say the performance is about the same between the two, perhaps the JS41 is a little better.I am running on Q6600 stock, 8600GT, 4 GB @ 800mhz.
September 9, 200916 yr Peformance is similar though I would say the J41 is a lot lot more detailed and beautiful to look at in the VC and the model
