Is the next waypoint in the instrument display the same as in the Radar Contact window? If they are different, the one in the RC window, which will show you getting further from it, is the one you missed.Solution. In the RC window select "next" until you see an option "Dir waypoint". Select that and then from the list of waypoints select the next one showing on your map display (unless you are very close to it, in which case select the next one). Your pilot voice will then ask to be cleared direct to that waypoint which will almost certainly be granted. As soon as you acknowledge, that will show as your next waypoint in the RC window and ATC will stop nagging you! :( I understand that this will be improved in v5.Iain Smith

September 10, 200916 yr If RC ATC gives you a command to resume your own navigation thazt is from you present position to the next waypoint in your plan. The same applies to the menu option direct next waypoint. In either case you do not return to your original path.On your aircraft avionics including FMC know how to to a direct-to and execute the change so it will show on your navigation display and couple with your autopilot if you so choose.
September 12, 200916 yr Author It seemed I have been inaccurate while installing FSX and AddOns on a new configuration.I transfered some older flightplans to the RC directory in Flightsim Commander. The Flightplans for FSX/Flightsim Commander, PMDG and Radar Contact have to be exactly the same and they were not.Thank you guys for trying to help me, Wim
