September 11, 200916 yr Hi Guys,Firstly I hope this was ok to post here. Am thinking of buying this product (E-Jets series) but wanted to ask for some advice from people who have the product.I'd be using it for FS2004 before I make my decision.1) What they think of the product overall?2) Would they recommend it to anybody?3) Any issues they have had and also what is the support network is like?4) It does come with a tutorial doesn't it from me checking the website? Correct me If I'm wrong though5) Where do you go for support and technical issues?Or anything really to think it is worth me purchasing this,Again am sorry for asking but want to be sure it's well worth buying before making a purcahse as this would be my first product from Wilco.I would be very grateful for anything provided from other fellow simmers using this productKind RegardsJason Jason Thompson
September 11, 200916 yr Jason,I liked the product overall. The flight model by Rob Young seemed excellent: very smooth. I'm not a systems guy, so I can't comment on that. I was mainly interested in getting a good-looking E-Jet and was not disappointed. Definitely recommend getting the McPhat paint package also. For a few dollars more, it makes a big difference. Had no need for support so I can't answer your questions in that regard.John
September 11, 200916 yr Good product, but not a great product. It falls short of PMDG quality. The systems are 90% accurate, the manuals are about 10% of what they should be. Product support is, in my opinion, negligible.Be warned that the charts you need to properly operate the product are not included (only some partial ones). So; often rewarding, but often frustrating. Check their forums to gauge the level of the product and their support before buying, and know what you are getting into.- danielGood product, but not a great product. It falls short of PMDG quality. September 11, 200916 yr PMDG quality it is not, but neither is the price. Overall I'm happy with this purchase. I've found support to be helpful from http://forum.iemit.com/Default.aspx?g=topics&f=13 but they are very quick to shout if you don't 'use the search feature' The included manual isn't really up to much; it's nice and cheerful but only really gives you the basics. However, there's a great tutorial here http://forum.iemit.com/Default.aspx?g=topics&f=13 - have a look before buying to see if this is what you want. There are many links on the support forum to all the missing little bits and bobs you need to fully enjoy this package.Again, in no way does it match the excellence of my PMDG MD-11 and B744 (I'm FS9 only), but I use it often and don't regret my purchase. September 11, 200916 yr Product support is, in my opinion, negligible.there are over 84,000 posts in feelThere's support forums. the e-jet (titled EMB) sub-forum is located at -http://forum.iemit.comregistration required-- D. September 11, 200916 yr Hi,I have it too and like it. I had some issues with it, but most turned out to be user error.Altough the FMC sometimes has issues intercepting the initial waypoint and tonight I had an issue with totally wrong fuel projections.Support is good as long as you go to the Feelthere forums. Official (email) support via Wilco is a disaster. So to make a long story short: It is a nice aircraft/panel with some rough edges. My 2 cents,Egbert Location: Vleuten, The Netherlands, 17.3dme SPL 108.40 | Simulator: FS2024 System: AMD 7800X3D - Gigabyte X670 - RTX 4090 - 64GB DDR5 - 2 x 2TB SSD - 32" 1440p Display - Windows 11 Pro
September 13, 200916 yr The Embraer is currently my favourite plane. Nice 3D, luxury repaints, imersive workflow: can
