September 13, 200916 yr Will this work with POSKY aircraft? Also, will it work with the ISG SIM gauges? Would we have to install FS2crew first, or the ISG gauges first? Thanks!-Andrew

Thanks!-AndrewHi Andrew,I don't use those add-ons mentioned, but this basically how it works. What's ISG?How to add FS2Crew FSX 737 to other aircraft that do not use the FSX 737 Panel.CFG file:The key thing is the Panel.CFG file.FS2Crew consists of gauge files that get loaded via the panel.cfg file of the host aircraft. If you're using a panel.cfg that's different from the default FSX 737, you'd need to add the FS2Crew entries manually to the host aircraft's panel.cfg.This is what you'd need to add (I'll assume you have some basic familarity with panel.cfg files and how they work... they're pretty simple):*Window Titles Section*WindowXX=FS2Crew Main PanelWindowXX=FS2Crew Configuration Panel****NOTE: XX must be the next number in sequence*****Put this at the very bottom of the Panel.cfg file*[WindowXX] //MAIN PANELsize_mm=681, 57pixel_size=681, 57position=3visible=0ident=1000zorder=100gauge00=FS2Crew2010\Versions\B737DefaultFSX\Gauges\FS2CrewB737!FS2Crew_MainPanel, 0,0,681,57gauge01=FS2Crew2010\Versions\B737DefaultFSX\Gauges\FS2CrewB737!FS2Crew_VoiceMain, 10,10,5,5gauge02=FS2Crew2010\Versions\B737DefaultFSX\Gauges\FS2CrewB737!FS2Crew_Audio, 20,20,5,5[WindowXX] //CONFIG PANELsize_mm=866, 248pixel_size=866, 248position=4visible=0ident=1001zorder=100gauge00=FS2Crew2010\Versions\B737DefaultFSX\Gauges\FS2CrewB737!FS2Crew_AudioSetup, 0,0,866,62gauge01=FS2Crew2010\Versions\B737DefaultFSX\Gauges\FS2CrewB737!FS2Crew_PreFlight, 0,62,866,62gauge02=FS2Crew2010\Versions\B737DefaultFSX\Gauges\FS2CrewB737!FS2Crew_Pushback, 0,124,866,62gauge03=FS2Crew2010\Versions\B737DefaultFSX\Gauges\FS2CrewB737!FS2Crew_FlightData, 0,186,866,62Lastly, you'll need to add this gauge in a Captains view panel (2D and VC). It's the gauge that handles the clickspot used to open the FS2Crew panels. You'll need to change the X, Y coords and sizing to match your desired clickspot location. I suggest using PanelStudio.gaugeXX=FS2Crew2010\Versions\B737DefaultFSX\Gauges\FS2CrewB737!FS2Crew_Icon, 892, 452, 59 ,59 B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
September 13, 200916 yr Hi Andrew,I don't use those add-ons mentioned, but this basically how it works. What's ISG? BryanISG is Integrated Simavionics Group, Ernie Alston's branded add-on avionics packages http://isgsim.com/This a really good half-way house between full-blown, high-end, special-to-type avionics that Level-D or PMDG might develop and stock avionics. Like the Reality-XP stuff, they're portable to any panel if you know how to integrate third-party gauges. I use the Boeing PFD, MFD and FMC with an AA repaint of the default 738 and it all works fine with FS2C 2010. As long Andrew is using the default panel, modded by FS2C and ISG aliased to his Posky frame, it should all work fine.Andy
September 13, 200916 yr Andy,I assume that ISG does not add any kind of improved autopilot functionality, it just replaces the screens and the navigation systems with more high-end ones?So after the ISG treatment the default 737 would still only have VS mode to climb with, etc ?Kimmo Kylevoice set management
September 13, 200916 yr Oh nice! Hey Andy, would you be willing to send me your panel.cfg? It would be MUCH APPRECIATED!Thanks again guys for the help :D
September 14, 200916 yr Kimmo,Correct. It provides semi-realistic avionics including a passable Smiths FMS MCDU but there's no augmentation to the AFCS. Level-D it ain't. Hell of an improvement over the original though.Andrew,You have mail,Andy
