If I am using the gauge for my personal use,and dont fly on the net in a virtual flight group for lack of better description,and I want to change the background color of a gauge to match the color of my home made panel,I AM going to change that color! All this legal whining is, to me just that!Whining!Granted,if I fly on the net and my modified gauge is some how seen , I can accept the creator getting hot.Dont agree,but I can accept.But,if all I do is fly in the confines of my home,on my computer and no net involved,then thats too bad.I dont feel morally corrupt for repainting the gauge.In fact,I HAVE repainted several.I dont sell them,and I dont fly the net.And if people want to whine,let them whine.You say that those people work hard at creating the gauges,and I can appreciate that.But,if all I do is repaint the background and they feel its such a big deal,I think they should seek therapy.It's just a color change for crying out loud!

I am a little confused over your post and why you would dredge up an old topic.  You have made two posts so far and both have been responses to old topics.  The first one you responded to a topic from 2004 about landing on a runway at Portland International.  This most recent post is very confusing with all of your sentences tied together and it is very difficult to read. IMHO, you appear delirious.  Are you just ranting to provoke the OP and other posters over an old topic about editing gauges? I do not consider this as appropriate conduct and it will not be allowed in this forum.  This topic about gauges has been discussed at length.  Please refrain from responding to old, old topics that have already been discussed at length.  If you have any questions or information to add that would be appropriate to the flight simulation community, then you should start a new topic and ask the question there.
