I have been trying to validate my purchase at this site for five days now without success. This is the most expensive add on I have ever bought ($100.00 can).My latest message to them was returned as ''user unknown''. I have tried everyway to reach them even through my wife's computer with no answer whatever...If anybody can help me with any info I would be grateful

I also have trouble reaching them. I bought and activated the plane okay a couple of weeks ago but came back with some further questions about re-installation. Building a new computer next week I'm going to re-install that plane and therefore another activation is neededHave sent them three emails in the last couple of days and did'nt get a response. yet. So my guess is they're on holiday?

This is exactly why i always buy the CD version rather than downloads. By downloading, you are ultimately at the mercy of the publisher. I fully appreciate why they do it - to protect from piracy. But on the other hand, who are they to say how many times i can install a program that I paid money for? If anything, that encourages people to find illegal serial numbers / activation cracks, as they have no choice once an activation gets denied. You hear that, Flight1 !?Rant over!

AdrianI have installed all my purchases from flight1 multiple times over the yearstheir system allows this as long as you have all your purchase details to handhttp://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=serviceUsing these options from the service and support page reinstalling will never be an issue. As many around here will testify Flight1 and their Wrapper system are as good as it gets in this business. What problems did you have ?.

I have to go along with mad dog on flight1. Plus their refunds are fast if the product did not work out for you.I think in the last week I have reinstalled software from flight one about 5 times along with FSX and Accel pack with no problems.

Ditto on Flight 1, they set the standard others should follow.

Yes, Flight1 refund policy, support and easy to use license key system is excellent. But IMO opinion Adrians post is important. PSS on line installers worked perfectly well until PSS went bankrupt. What happens if a developer using the Flight1 wrapper goes bankrupt? Will we still be able to reactivate keys and install? Probably not. We don't own the downloaded product. We have only purchased a license to use it. That's all. This wouldn't be a problem if I didn't have to activate my software on line/by email. I do acknowledge the problem with software piracy and the need to make it harder for the bad guys. But innocent users, like me, got hurt when PSS went bankrupt. Maybe this is the price we have to pay.I've purchased download products from several developers that don't require on line activation, which is extremely safe out of a pure consumer perspective (as long as you make back up copies to avoid disk failure disasters).

HelloCount me in as another user with four PSS products which are now useless to me.I only posted in reply to Adrian holding up Flight1 as a bad example of a developer when in fact they are the gold standard as far as I am concerned.Lets face it, if you can't get your purchase reinstalled via the Flight1 wrapper and their support page then you have to be totally clueless as they have every angle covered for you.At the very mimimum you only need the email address you used at the time of purchase.you can still reinstall Flightzone 1 and 2 through Flight1 and that Dev has dissapeared to the same desert island as PSS..

I stand corrected: My LevelD just 'ran out' of activations. I logged into Flight1 verified my email address, and bang, i was back in business within 2 minutes.Just to clarify, i wasnt necessarily picking on just Flight1 - just the system of having to reactivate software should the developers go bust.

Thanks for posting this! As a long time lover of all things Apache (Mustang) I was all prepared to drop money on this item. I will write to them and ask if they won't mind selling through Flight1 because, frankly, Flight1 is the primary site I use and trust the most!

Things have been settled now. I finally received my validation. They claim that they had problems with their security codes and that their site was off the air for a while. The planes are just beautiful and the souds of the Merlin engine very realistic. These B and C Mustangs plus the A2A P51D are the complete experience.Do not hesitate if you want these. They were worth the trouble and the vendors are very concerned about their reputation.

Well, I have sent email after email and heard nothing. You can only register once, so how do you ever order anything? It's very frustrating.

I suggest you go to the AVSIM review of the P51s by Chris Kiehl. He has contacts within the company. [email protected]>
