September 20, 200916 yr Is there a difference in between GEPro and BirdsEyeView...they are both texture sets, aren't they?Mark
September 20, 200916 yr Hi,BEV is a fixed set of textures.GEP textures can be installed based on the weather conditions.
September 20, 200916 yr Simple answer is: U cant compare those two.BEV is kinda amateur one. GEP is proffesional one. My Specification: I CAN RUN FSX IN MAX SETTINGS....i don't care about dell, bell, amd, intel, 60000 wats power supply or alien made graphic card....
September 20, 200916 yr Commercial Member So if you flightsim for a living you're definitely gonna want GE Pro :(

September 20, 200916 yr BEV was never completed and the developer has long since left the scene. GEPro was completed, patched and is still supported. No contest, really. :(
September 22, 200916 yr Comparing programs which have been developed at different times is akin to comparing a 20 year old car to a 2009. BEV when first introduced led the way to a whole new sim environment which has been improved on since. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the developer of BEV had to stop work on it due to ill health, and many of us who bought BEV, I'm sure, still appreciate all the hard work he put into it.

The developer of BEV led the way and opened the door to what we have today with GE pro.
