September 27, 200916 yr I am pretty sure that I saw a post on this subject on AVSIM once, but I've spent quite some time searching here (+smoke +pushback nad so forth) with no result. Maybe it disappeared from the database - or it was a different forum..Anyone able to tell me why at a number of airports (and I seem to recall that it is related to the airport rather than the aircraft) I get huge clouds of white smoke coming up from the front wheels, often obscuring the whole area around the plane. Is there a fix? I tried flattening the area but that didn't help. It's not a big deal (with crash turned off at least), but it'd be good to know exactly what's going on.Thanks,Martin.. this during pushback I omitted to mention.. Martin Stebbing, EGLF (UK)

September 30, 200916 yr Author Yes, AES won't push back with parking brakes on. Otherwise I use a groundhandling gauge - also can't push back with brakes on. I never use the FS9 default pushback..M. :-) Martin Stebbing, EGLF (UK)
September 30, 200916 yr Aeshelp has an option to 'fix' your landing gear for use with Aes pushback - try that. It will automatically make a backup of your aircraft.cfg. I've used it on several aircraft - always works well. Regards, Mark
September 30, 200916 yr You need to fix the static height and pitch in your aircraft cfg. :( My FS Videos
October 1, 200916 yr Author Yes, that's true - there's a 'fix for pushback' option, which I've never really even looked at! I'll try and see what happens. If not, I'll have alook at the cfg file.Thanks.M. Martin Stebbing, EGLF (UK)

I start the sim, select the aircraft and start the flight, alt+enter, start aes and press repair for pushback, then exit everything. Next time you use that plane, everything should be sorted!Chris Chris Howard
