Don't get me wrong here; I'm certainly not looking to get flammed here...I recall a message from Robert somewhere in March stating that "in about 60 days we are able to show the first screenshots".I detect a trend at PMDG to become more and more like the guys at Level-D, meaning keeping everything extremely quiet until few weeks before release. Personally I don't like that approach (much more prefer the Airsimmer one with regular updates and throwing of candy...).Could someone from PMDG tell us anything about the NGX..... They will definately release something... I agree they've been way to optimistic about schedules and dates in the past, but they'll get there...I sure believe PMDG is working hard on the project, but one or two screenies showing what we're waiting for wouldn't be to much work to make?Regards,Frank

Hey Michael, have you seen the Video they just released? that Airbus is going to be a work of Art.. I dont care if it takes them another year. Anyway, while I agree that screenshots videos etc are nice for the waiting customer it spawns a lot of stupid posts like 'The windscreen wiper is 2 inches too short' why doesn't the tray table make a sound when you click on it!' It must drive the dev team and mods crazy.Rob

I personally think that PMDG updates are better than the Air Simmer ones, ok PMDG give a drop every months, but a leat it's a good update with informations.Air Simmer talk wind.

My immediate concern is performance - I see quite a bit of jerkiness in the PFD and graphics though good perhaps not as good as some of the latest best offerings. But I hope the Airbus 'logic' will be top notch and all Airbus lovers will be happy. I wish them luck. I am only curious about their product in terms what can they achieve - this won't be my aircraft to fly, not that I dislike Airbus, I dislike everything above 30,000 lbs. MTOW.

The Video is for FS9 so the guy must have a fairly slow system and also using Fraps or something. One thing I still like about FS9 is that with todays hardware you can run the most badly coded software and it will still be liquid smooth. Anyone ever try The Samsoft Very Singapore? The addon is basically a virus in the way it drains resources on a P4 despite the low quality of the product. Run it on a 3ghz + Duel core or I7 and the system wont even blink. RegardsRob

Speaking of NGX and FS9, I recall reading somewhere quite a while back that PM were building the new NG for both FS9 and FSX. *When* this beast comes out isn't as much of a concern to me as whether it will include an FS9 version, as I don't see FSX in my future, at least not for another year. Can anyone confirm one way or the other on this?
