C++runtime library error

Featured Replies

Hello,I am running a program called Squawkbox (SB4) which is an interactive Air Traffic Control Communications site which is connected with the internet and is running as a module inside Flight Simulator X on Windows Vista.During my simulated flight, I get the following " C++ Assertion Failure Runtime Error" stating JIT must be enabled, giving me 3 options: ABORT,RETRY & IGNORE. The game crashes upon choosing either option, my game reads Flight Simulator X not Responding and I have to close out the program.Here are the File Location: "JIT must be enabled"File: g:\sb4_tree\squawkbox\code\util\sbpos.cppLine: 44I know there has to be a computer expert out there somewhere who may be able to shed some light on this issue.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your effort in trying to help me to run Flight Simulator X.I never flew on FSX before, until getting the PMDG JS4100, and love the plane, but want to know if the plane is causing this or SB4. Seems to happen when I try to get a weather report. Anyone else getting this issue?Regards

Greg, may I suggest you post a similar post over in the FSX forum. Might help.

Thanks, Dan. I already posted in the SB4 forum, and no response from the administrators there. Just wondering if this was happening to anyone else here.

Try a flight with another aircraft, preferably one of the defaults to see if the problem occurs. If so, then it is something associated with either your FDSX install, or the SB4 setup...You need to pinpoint the conditions of the problem... and then you can act accordingly.Andrew
