Have ticked out the Fly Tampa VHHX LC in the Scenery Library and it has made a big improvement as regards my issue with textures etc.Hope my problem now stays away. I have many Imagine airports and none have acted like the issue I mentioned.Been in contact with the Imagine support and told them of my results.Compliment to their support fron replying very quickly to my e-mails.

Hi Coneman and BigmackWould either of you gentlemen be kind enough to tell a stupid old duffer like me how to do the mip map thing, because I have the ground texture flicker problem with a couple of Airports, namely Fly Tampa's VHHX and KSFO.Thanks and best regardsMalcolm "Rooster" Hancock
Get the FS9 SDK from Microsoft FS9 web site or it maybe on the disc 4. There's a file called Image tool. Installed it, open it and scroll to the Airport texture file. Select the bmp files that has _t at the end. Those are day textures. Do not select any bmp that has an L, those are night textsures.Bill M

Hi againSorry for being thick but the textures I'm looking at either have _LM at the end or nothing at all. Is it the ones with nothing at the end that I add mips to? Also what about the textures with nothing but a series of numbers at the bottom? Thanks again for the help.Malcolm "Rooster" Hancock

LM are night textures, do not touch. The one with nothing are ok. They are the day textures. Some developers are so lazy in naming and mipping bmp files.Bill M
