Rightly or wrongly, there's been a lot of criticism here lately towards a particular payware developer. That got me to thinking about the other side of that coin.... In the past here on the Avsim forums, there were countless (sometimes heated) threads criticising FSD (Flightsim Developers). Not for the quality of their products, for I believe they've always been excellent, but mostly regarding licensing, activation & support issues. In fact I remember posting several times myself, about being unable to reactivate products etc.Things change I guess - how many negative posts do we see now regarding FSD? None that I know of recently that's for sure (the power of forums?).In recent months, I've needed to reinstall Windows & FSX numerous times. At no point did I have any issue reactivating my FSD aircraft. Not how it was a couple of years ago.As a DIRECT result of that, I've just been to the FSD website and purchased the P39 Lightning - a great aircraft.I've also been looking at another forum where some great information and support has come from that P38 developer.Just thought that worth posting, and no, I'm not affiliated with FSD. 'Honest Gov' :(

Mostly, the old problems occurred when bozoes like me who are always reinstalling Windows & FSX wanted consecutive reactivations.

Lots of feedback in this threadhttp://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?t=23702I agree, I am one that had bad experiences with FSD in the past, but seeing their new level of support with the P-38 has made me feel more inclined to give them another chance.

Best, Michael

All of the issues in the SOH thread have been dealt with so the product is now stable and installs flawlessly. (just my 2 cents) (and yes.. I work with FSD)kc
