November 23, 200916 yr I recently tried to install an afcad for OJAI and in the instructions, it said:This AFD/Afcad uses the JFK jetway short and long extensions fro all jetway gates. If you have previously installed Jim Vile's WSSS, Ray Smith's KPTA or my own ESMS you should have already taken the following steps. if not please do the following to see these jetways correctly:1. Go to your Scenery/NAME/Texture folder and locate the two files "JFK_Jetway.dds" and "JFK_Jetway_LM.dds".2. Copy each of these files and paste them into your Scenery/Generic/Texture folder - you only need to do this once and any subsequent AFDs/Afcads you install using this technique will show them also. The problem is I don't have a scenery/generic folder.FSX seems to be running fine but this folder doesn't exist. I have several folders in SceneryScenery/(several with numbers)Scenery/AFRIScenery/ASIAScenery/AUSTScenery/BASEScenery/citiesScenery/EUREScenery/EURWScenery/GlobalScenery/NAMCScenery/NAMEScenery/NAMWScenery/OCENScenery/propsScenery/SAMEScenery/WorldAny ideas or advice? Search out the other files as they may give you the instructions you need. \Robert Hamlich/
November 23, 200916 yr I just tried an idea...and was right. That folder setup is right for FS9. It's possible that the instructions might be off...My guess is that you should put the files into your Addon Scenery/textures folder. Best Regards,Robert Kerr 3D Modeler & Texture Artist
November 23, 200916 yr As mentioned, that directory existed under FS 9.For FS X, it has been replaced by Scenery\Global\Texture.Best regards.Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!

November 24, 200916 yr Author Thanks. I agree, it sounds like he copied and pasted the instructions from FS9.Easy mistake - I have made it a number of times. Usually its on a cover letter for a resume or something :( MSFS Premium Deluxe Edition; Windows 11 Pro, I9-9900k; Asus Maximus XI Hero; Asus TUF RTX3080TI; 32GB G.Skill Ripjaw DDR4 3600; 2X Samsung 1TB 970EVO; NZXT Kraken X63; Seasonic Prime PX-1000, LG 48" C1 Series OLED, Honeycomb Yoke & TQ, CH Rudder Pedals, Logitech G13 Gamepad
