Looking pretty sad. Lot of my sites I used to go to when I was really involved have all but disappeared. This site really took a hit too. Hope things get going again. :( I long for the good ol' days for sure. Maybe MS will again resurrect FS? That would be nice. :(

Well it's true that you haven't been around for awhile. Cause if you were here when the forums got hacked and saw the community come together to get Avsim back up and better then ever you would have never made this post. Nothings happened to flightsimming, since the introduction of I7 chips and higher end stuff we are all finally enjoying our great sim and the great add ons that come at our way on a consistant basis.

Great to see an 'old' and very involved flightsimmer from years past Frank......shoot, as far back as FS5/98 if I remember correctly. Welcome back.Ever have plans to do any scenery design again? Always had quite a few of your offerings in the past, especially the 'bush'/Alaskan stuff. Anyway, just wanted to say 'hey' :( You may also want to check out Sim-Outhouse, as there may be some guys that hang out there you probably have known over the years.

Just a word of thanks for all the scenery you have provided in past years - :( Welcome back!!

Well thank you two. Guess I could have worded my post better. Trouble with expressionless words :( I was really into the scenery until fsx hit. A lot of my old tricks and easy to use scenery making tools just didn't work any more, and just too lazy to learn the new stuff I guess. Pretty much wore out filling up Alaska! he he. I do miss my old friends around here. Really dreaded the day when I kind of drifted off into other things. I was just reminiscing a couple days age through all the sites I had saved for the FS stuff. A lot of them have moved or just disappeared. I will check out sim-outhouse too. Thanks for the kind words you guys :(

I'd like to say hello and thanks to you, Frank and Geofa and Opa. I've enjoyed FS a lot more because of you guys and the other gifted developers. I miss the old days too. It was exciting to "hunt" for gems to add on to FS2000 then 2002, then 2004. Somehow it isn't the same for FSX. I enjoyed FLYII and Train Sim too.Oh well, Frank, please don't be a stranger and please do consider developing for us again!Welcome back!Earl

Hi Frank, how's it going man!!? Yep, things were simpler back then for scenery design (BTW thanks for your help back then also), but the new level of detail and options now are a great thing. FSDS supports FSX, and you wouldn't have to relearn much at all, would be great if you got back into it. I'm here is you need anything!

Best, Michael
