December 13, 200916 yr Hi,I am interested in the new version of FS2Crew for the PMDG 737. However I am using the German version of Windows 7 Home Premium and don't want to fiddle around with Vistalization and change the display language in my Windows. Is it possible to use the new FS2Crew without voice recognition (similar to the old FS2Crew version)? Is voice recognition just a feature or an essential part of FS2Crew?The features of the new version contain AES and FSPassenger integration. How are these programms integrated? Is it possible to start a push back in FS2Crew and the push back being performed by AES? And what are the features of the FSPassenger integration? All the bestUli
December 13, 200916 yr Hi Uli,The Voice Commander version will not work without voice recognition - you should use the older FS2Crew for the PMDG 737 if you don't want to use voice commands.I don't user AES or FSPassengers, but I *think* that FS2Crew simply omits some steps, such as operating the jetway and doors, to avoid duplicate functionality when these addons are used.Tom Tom Risager NGX tutorial: http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?Location=AVSIM&Proto=ftp&DLID=162360 SIDs & STARs Worked Examples: LOWI-UUDD, KSEA-KLAX, EKCH-ENGM, YSCB-YPAD
December 13, 200916 yr If you have AES, I recommend that you use it's pushback functions instead of FS2Crew. Just skip the FS2Crew pushback dialogue and start the engines once you're being pushed back by AES. That's the best way to do it.
December 14, 200916 yr Author Thanks for the answers. I am currently using the old FS2Crew. I am quite happy with it but I have to admit, that voice interaction is tempting. I installed Vistalizator and are now able to select English in the Voice Recognition options. However, the Windows Voice Recognition is not able to be started because I am still using the German dialogs in Windows. Do I need to change the OS language as well (which I do not want) to be able to use the new FS2Crew or is it sufficient to have English selected in the options dialog of the Windows Voice Recognition?

If you can run the English voice recognition system training, you should be good.On Windows 7 Ultimate it is no big deal to change OS language (I switch between English and Danish). If I understand Vistalizator correct, it simply unblocks this feature in versions other than Ultimate, so switching to English for flightsimming and back to German for work should not be a problem. Maybe someone who is already set up using Vistalizator can confirm. December 16, 200916 yr Author Can anyone with Vistalizer comment here?I guess, that's me ;-). I could not resist buying the new FS2Crew. Vistalizator works quite well. I have chosen the internal installation option. The Windows voice recognition program needs both Windows display language and voice recognition language set to the same language. To change a language it is necessary to reboot the system. Fortunatly FS2Crew does not require English as display language. It is sufficient to change the voice recognition language to English and keep the local display language. That's just what I wanted
