December 17, 200916 yr This info caught my attention and thought this might be interesting for our Wilco bus drivers.Eric Marciano is selling a global upgrade for Wilco buses bundled with a hardware compatibility module, but he also sells the upgrade separately for a lower price. I don't know what that price is, you need to contact Eric via his webpage for that. From the looks of it, the upgrade addresses many of the residual problems and adds missing features. Check it out! December 18, 200916 yr I purchased it from Eric and am quite happy with it. Running in FSX, the link pretty well outlines what you get, and it works very well so far.Eric also indicated he may look at releasing a stand alone commercial HUD.Joe Joe Lorenc
December 24, 200916 yr Hi Guys: I also purchased Eric's upgrade and find it is well worth it as far as the way the airbus should fly. The MCDU upgrades alone are worth it. However, it does not want to play well with the FS9 FS2Crew Airbus SE. Anyone have any thoughts on how to get that to work as well?Don Brashears

December 25, 200916 yr Hi Bryan: After the upgrade from Eric Marciano, Wilco Airbus Vol 1 would not load before a CTD. I had forgot to change the panels back to Wilco's original from FS2Crew. After I made the change and re-installed Eric's upgrade, all worked perfectly. If you had to make plan changes in mid flight, TOC, TOD and deceleration changed accordingly as they should. An ability to perform holds at any way point was put in, and it works like a charm. The way the MCDU interprets transitions changed etc. Here is a link to Eric's page that would explain things a lot better than I can, http://emarciano.free.fr/Cockpit/MCDUDoc/D...on.html#upgrade (His email is [email protected]). I can tell you that a lot more than the panel files were changed. the Aircraft.cfg's were as well. This upgrade should have been given by Wilco. I suspect they called the last one good and cut Eric free. This is a way to make perfect the product you designed and get paid for it as well. The cost is 30 Euros. As I said in my previous note, well worth the price in my opinion. I do understand that he is going to upgrade Vol 2 as well (Free to those who purchased Vol 1's upgrade). I would love it if there was a way to get FS2Crew to work with it. I would be happy to help in any way I can.Don Brashears
December 26, 200916 yr Commercial Member Hi Don,I'll request a copy of this new version from Eric. We'll see if he can forward me one so I can test it.I can't make any promises without seeing it first, but we'll see what I can do, if anything.Best, B. December 28, 200916 yr Hi Bryan: I think I may have the fix. I re-installed the gaugesound.dll from the Level-d FS2crew Start Center. I then tried FS2crew with the new updates from Eric. No CTD and so far so good. I have a flight from KLGA to KDEN going as we speek. I am about half way through the flight and all is working very well. My last major concern is the cat III autoland through the shutdown sequence in Denver.PS.. The CAT III autoland in Denver went very well (VS at TD was -71, as close to perfect as I have seen). All seems to be working without issue. Hope this helps someone That may have ran into the same thing. I now really love the airbus. Don Brashears

Don Brashears Hi Don,The Gaugesound dll was probably it then. That new Airbus update must have over-wrote the FS2Crew GaugeSound.dll with an older version.Glad you got it working.Best, B.
