December 28, 200916 yr Hi Just wondered is it could be possible to add an option in the CFG panel on which one to use ? as at a few airports that use MBs im getting INs instead , eg i use the UK2000 extreme EGKK demo as a dep/arr Airport and the FO is saying 29.92 and not 1013.This is with the PMDG and PIC FS9 versions on Win XP Thanks Rich

December 30, 200916 yr Author Hello Rich,In the PMDG 737 version of FS2Crew 737 voice, whether the FO uses InHg or Millibars is dependent on the MB/InHG switch on the PMDG 737's EFIS panel. So if you're in the UK, make sure that switch is set to MB.Cheers, I dont get it much if at all in the PMDG version any more but the PIC version always says it in InHg at Gatwick , it should be in MBs , my flight sim settings are set to Metric (Altimeters in feet) Latitude Northern.... Longitude Western ... to be honest its such a great product i can live with it . a work around would be nice . Rich
December 31, 200916 yr Hi Bryan,at my PIC737 the FO uses Millibars for departure, but InHg for approach. Just for information. It's really not a big fault at Your great tool, and I can live with it too. But may be this information can help, to fix it.Best RegardsDietmar
December 31, 200916 yr Commercial Member Here's the story...The 737 Wilco PIC version is different from the PMDG 737 version. In the PMDG 737, I can read the actual position of the MB/inHG switch on the PMDG 737's EFIS panel. This makes things very easy from my perspective. In the 737 PIC, however, I cannot read that switch position. So in the 737 PIC version what the FO reads back for the altimeter with respect to units is based on your units of Measurement in the FS options menu. However, in the next 737 PIC version update I'm going to change that so it uses Lat/Long instead probably.Best, B.
