Norway Scenery with UT Eurpoe

Featured Replies

I've been using the fantastic Norway scenery for years. I currently use the NORAP07 airports with Norway mesh and the awesome landclass scenery from www.fotoscenery.com. I'm thinking about purchasing UT Europe but I'm concerned that it might mess things up with the Norway sceneries. Anyone have any experience with running these two together? I'd hate to have them not be compatible. Thanks,Markus

HelloIf that is the norway scenic package there is a merge at the bottom of this linkhttp://www.fwi.no/fwino_filer.htmlIt appears to be a modified set of Norway Scenic files with a batch file to enable/disable compatability with UT europealso a patch for FSgenesis mesh over at the Scenery Solutions Compatibility sitehttp://66.135.39.111/ultterrain/Patch/UTEPatch.htmThis is from the readme file:How to use UT-Europe with Norway Scenic V2******************************************Requirements: FS2004 and Ultimate Terrain - Europe edition (http://www.flight1.com) included FSgenesis "Scandinavian mesh" patch (see NOTE1)Background: After some testing i concluded Norway Scenic has far more accurate coastlines, lakes and rivers. Also, if you use Norway Quality Mesh, its a huge advantage to use Norway Scenic instead of UT Europe, cause UT-Europe lakes does not fit the Mesh (creates crates and plateus in Norway) BUT: UT-Europe also includes rest of scandinavia and Europe and has superb 3D night light points, great set of roads and railroads, etc.So I wanted to replace only the UT-Europe Coastlines, lakes and rivers with the one from Norway Scenic, and keep all the other features of UT-Europe in Norway.Hope this helps

Guys, thank you for getting the Norway scenery discussions out from ruins!!! The thing is I've been using the excellent NOAPR plus Norway Scenic and other photoreal sceneries from FOTOSCENERY.COM for years now. But recently I've lost the photoreal sceneries. Airports are ok though... Now the problem is when I want to download the photosceneries from FOTOSCENERY COM, the download returns an error - file not found thingy! :( My numerous attempt to register at FLIGHTSIM.NO forums and get support from forum members didn't work out - admin must approve my account but unfortunately, I've not received a confirmation email since!!!Now the last resort is AVSIM. May I ask any of you guys, having these sceneries in hand, share them with me also?!? I will highly appreciate it!THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Regards,

Victor Quebec

So, does anyone knows where I can get FOTOSCENERY.com photoreal sceneries?!?Thank you!

Victor Quebec
