January 22, 201016 yr Several years ago I bought Level-D's 767 for FSX. While it was good for it's day, I feel it has been surpassed. I am wondering what others think of some of the other 767s that have come from Captain Sim or CLS. I have used many of the PMDG aircraft and so my expectations are high. Please be objective, I am not trying to start a flame war. Thanks for your input.Jhan Jhan M. Thanks for your input.JhanHi JhanI too purchased the Captain Sim 767, looking for a high def version, after several very happy years with the Level-D model. What I got with the CS version is, without doubt, of exceptional quality in the visual and graphics department. It's simply stunning! However, we've all been spoilt by the quality of the flight model and systems representation from the Level-D team. Sadly, the Captain Sim flight model & systems does not hold a candle to the LDS 767.That's not to say it's bad addon. I don't think it is. It just doesn't quite 'cut the mustard'. January 23, 201016 yr Author I have purchased from CS before and they never did the cockpit and systems for the 727 Captain; this was the v1.0 and not the current v2.0. So I am nervous about buying again, to me the systems are just as important as a graphically stunning exterior model. I know the CLS model is new and that bothers me, I haven't talked to anyone who has bought anything from them. Thanks for the feed back on the CS 767. Jhan M. I know the CLS model is new and that bothers me, I haven't talked to anyone who has bought anything from them. Thanks for the feed back on the CS 767.The CLS 767 has some nice visuals but the systems are even less detailed (basic) than that of the Captain Sim 767. If you want an easy to fly, good looking plane, go with the CLS model. If you want a good looking plane, with more systems modeling, go with the CS 767. If you are saying that you purchased the exterior only version of the 727, I'm not sure what you are complaining about as that was your choice. They did finish the systems for the 727 quite sometime ago and exterior only purchasers can upgrade to the 727 base pack for a discount. Currently the Captain Sim 727 is on SP2.3 and it happens to be one of my favorite aircraft.
