January 27, 201016 yr Hi guys. Did a really nice flight from KMIA to SKBO yesterday and on the approach really wanted to switch off the autopilot and hand fly the last 4nm. What is the correct procedure for doing this? I don't want to disconnect the ats though. Gavin Price
January 27, 201016 yr I just press Z, the MSFS default for autopilot disconnect. This does not disconnect the autothrottle. Dan Downs KCRP

January 27, 201016 yr Author I just assumed that pressing it twice would just arm the autopilot again. Thanks guys Gavin Price
January 27, 201016 yr It's simple, just press twice the yellow autopilot disconnect button placed on your yoke(Virtual Cockpit), the Autothrotle would not disconnect until you press the autothrust disconnect button placed in both sides of the throttles, it's a white button. Hope it's helpful
