January 29, 201016 yr Hi there, has someone experienced that with the new NVidia driver (196.21), some gauges do not update? Well, they do, when you switch from full screen to windowed mode or back, but only then and only once. Apart from that, their state isn't redrawn. This is true for the standard FSX gauges and those from Reality XP.Or am I the only one to see this strange behaviour?
January 29, 201016 yr I'm still on the previous version, 195.62, which work OK on my system. The latest version had a bug that disabled OC:ing with RivaTuner. Info here: http://www.tomshardware.com/news/nvidia-ov...river,9519.htmlYou could try to revert to an older driver or try the latest beta.
January 29, 201016 yr GTX285 - 196.21 - no problems whatsoever.Me too! John Rig: Gigabyte B550 AORUS Master Motherboard, AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT CPU, 32GB DDR4 Ram, Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super Graphics, Samsung Odyssey wide view display (5120 x 1440 pixels) with VSYNC on.

January 30, 201016 yr After updating to 196.21 I got weird graphics problems like missing gauges/texture and invisible atc window every time I switched from fullscreen to windowed and back, or simply by browsing the menus and then going back to the flight. It only happened when my secondary monitor was enabled though. Ending the flight and going back to the FSX main flight screen showed a black window instead of the rotating a/c. Updating to 196.34 made no difference. Going back to 195.62 solved the problem. Never seen this before. Using win7 64, GTX 285, FSX accel. 195.62 works very well for me so I'll just stay with that version.

February 1, 201016 yr There is a 196.34 beta out the fixed some stuff. It only fixes the bug the prohibited the ability to OC the GPU.
February 1, 201016 yr Im using those drivers and that happened to me every know and again after i installed the addon-x convertor (even when it was "not enabled"). Hasnt happened before / after addon-x.Also you can OC with 196.21 using the new version of EVGA Precision (not sure if thats just for EVGA card ppl though?) February 5, 201016 yr Has anyone on FS2004 noticed a performance increase? I have not updated yet, I'm waiting because the last update I did of my nVidia drivers was rather painful and it took several days to get it good again.. Philippe Hewett"It's not a bug, it's an undocumented feature."
