As my addon is currently downloading as i type this, i have looked at the free liveries, and wonder whether Obhama has one of these be the new Airforce one?, and will PMDG realease a paint for new airforce one?

What kind of FPS increase did you see with this new model? You say you now got between 24-30, what did you have in the same situation before?Also, not sure if this has already been answered but will there be a paintkit released for this new model?

There are however addon liveries for this model, apologies to you if you know that already!!. I am glad that i have a 1gb graphics card for this model!, even if it is AGP!!

Wow, that's a great increase! I seldom get less than 30 FPS with my current rig with the exeption of Flight1's Mustang together with the PMDG 747 where the FPS drops down to the low 20'th from time to time so if this model can both increase my FPS and at the same time give me an even more great looking Queen how could I resist...guess I'll pick up the new model later tonight :(

I am sorry to butt in this post, but i was wondering whether my FS2Crew for 747 400x, by Aerosoft, (according to my boxed version of the PMDG 747 400X its their product as well as their name features on the box); will work with the PMDG 747 8i?Would appreicate if someone could advise me pleasethank you

Yes, FS2Crew will work with the 747-8i just like the 747-400X. As with the 747-400X, there is no FS2Crew support for the freighter. I am flying LH400 from EDDF to KJFK right now in the 747-8i with FS2Crew. Beautifully done visual model, however I have the same nose wheel issue others have mentioned.Cheers,Jody Pombrio

Well since i have installed the new PMDG 747-8i FS2CREW doesnt work when i load the 747-8i, and it does not work in the 747-400X version either, so what i have done wrong i do not know!, it is very annoying as people have got it working and i haven't, so feeling extremly thick at the moment.

Hi Guys, i'll add mine into these as well - just had a 20min flight out of Kings Field Seattle to get stunned - and indeed she looks incredible! That Wingflex is awesome, the engine nacelles and the blades in it. And the front wheel is turning properly now - i'm so fascinated of it. All the bestAlexander Roithmair
