Dome lighting in 747-8i

Featured Replies

I started a night flight and discovered the dome light does not work in the 747-8i. I used the configurator and changed back to the 747-400x, loaded the aircraft, and it worked as it should, lighting the whole cockpit.Has anyone else come across this?Andrew Dixon

I noticed this last night as well on my maiden flight, using the VC. I did not recheck the current 744 configuration, but the 748 dome light was worthless. The panel and instrument lighting seemed to be functional however.I did notice however the new snazzy Nav lights while in-flight last night. Much better PMDG, well done!

Andrew, I forgot to reply to this last night, but the dome light not working has been passed on to the proper people. Thanks for the report.

Here the same with the lighting. But today, when it was getting dark, the lights went on by itself. The switch was operated but nothing happend so I forgot about it. Then when it was getting darker the lights went on automaticly.
