AES file for PMDG 747-8

Featured Replies

Hi,how can we handle/change config file of the AES Addon for the 747-8 ?i see only the 747-400 file working and the postions are understandably incorrect.so please let us know :(

You will need two intelliscene.cfg's. Keep them in separate folders and switch everytime you switch aircraft.Here are the contents of the -8i pax intelliscene.cfg:[Descr]Type=B748[Geom]Nosegear= 27.7Door1=-2.95, 25.9, 4.8, 5Door2=-3.25, 12.6, 4.85Door3=-3.25,-10.7, 4.8Door4=-2.65,-25, 5,-6Front= 2, 22.1, 2.75Rear= 1.5,-15, 2.75

Cool ... thx Rune!but can you explain please the proceedere with two different folders and switching between the Aircrafts more exact?thx beforehand

Ok I'll try to explain. Don't mind so much about the folders. The important thing is that you can only have one intelliscene.cfg in each aircraft folder. If you copy and paste another intelliscene.cfg into that spesific aircraft folder, it will get overwritten. So you got to store two different intelliscene.cfg's somewhere, and they got the exact same name, so they have to be in two different named folders. For instance one folder called '400', and another folder called '8i'.So when you want to fly the -8i, you simply copy and paste the intelliscene.cfg from the '8i' folder into the PMDG747-400 folder before you start FSX. And if you want to fly the 400, copy and paste the intelliscene.cfg from the '400' folder, into the PMDG747-400 folder before you start FSX. Ok?
