They are in FS9/Sound folder named - OUTERMK.WAV, MIDDMK.WAV, & INNERMK.WAVRoman

well, there are some marker sounds in cockpit vidoes at youtube...the marker sounds just fade in and out, and not as harsh as the standard sounds in fs2004. so, i'm trying to mimic these somehow... :( lets see, if i'm successful. if yes, it will be uploaded here.cheersharald

It is true that the beacons do not sound like that in real life. In the sim, they are loud and abrupt. In the real world, the sounds get gradually louder as you pass over the station and then fade.Not all ILS's have beacons installed, and in most cases, the Inner Marker is associated with CATII and CATIII runways.
