Well, this product is free. The model looks very good and the VC is perfect. So just download it from avsim and get some repaints from flightsim and try it. I personally think this VC looks better, especially its dimensions, than the Aerosoft A300-B2, of course it's a different generation A300. I actually prefer the 600 because it still around as a passenger plane, at least it was until recently. i would like to know how to get the localizer to work.

I have two other models of the Airbus by Mr. Ruth - both have an extensive manual. Is the problem you are having not addressed in the 300-600 manual?

I couldn't figure out how to set up the localizer and glide slope intercept either so I uninstalled both ac yesterday.

It would be nice if someone could help with this ILS issue. The A300 is all I fly right now, but I can only land visually. Touch down is great with this aircraft. Not like CLS where it slams into the ground at 300 f/m at 155 knots. This one touches down gently at 130 knots. I really like it.

Trying to understand what this means ?For the CLS model being there's no autoland, Isn't the pilot flaring to reduce the descent rate prior to touchdown ?What am i missing here ?Regards.Ernie.

What I mean is you need high approach speeds in order to be able to flare. Even their manual says that the absence of a flare is realistic. I wonder. I like Thomas's flare.

I actually found out how you can get the GS diamond to show, and work. Change your NAV frequency to the right numbers, then press the button next to it to make it go to the autotune navs, then the NAV/GPS should be on nav and the display on Test, et voil

Im currently working on figuring out the ils to this aircraft as well. It sucks cuz alot of the vc and cockpit switches are labeled differently. and even after supposedly setting my nav frequency to active i still fail to see the diamonds. once in awhile though the localizer will take over the heading, without the gs though... :(

just follow directions as CVEP has described only difference between other aircrafts and this tom a300-600 is that we gotta use land button right next to v/s; its a same thing as approachils works perfectly fine .............................. look at CVEP's post 1. set NAV frequency and activate it 2. change NAV/GPS to NAVand 3. Land button (same as approach but this aircraft reads land)as soon as aircraft intercepts gs, altitude will turn off as it is in other aircrafts; it will land beautifully
