February 7, 201016 yr I just installed UK 2000 Manchester Xtream and during the install I was asked if I had AES installed. I did NOT check this block as I had NOT made this arpt active in AES. After the install, I went to the AES window and I was going to make EGCC (AES) active because I already had 11 credits. When I looked for EGCC ( in AES) to make it active, it was NOT there. I went to the AES website and it was NOT listed as being available. Can anyone explain this? Why would the "install" ask me if I had AES if this install of EGCC was NOT available. Thanks jerrycwo4
February 7, 201016 yr Jerry,It is NOT YET AESed. It will be soon as Oliver has already received the necessary files. If everything goes fine, maybe we'll see it AES-compatible with the next version (2.06).The option is there to be used later (with ASE availability) to ensure the custom gates are excluded properly. So just don't use it for now.

The installer was written to support AES as soon as Oliver completes the work on it. Think of it as Gary future proofing the scenery for AES. So like Rafal said and as you already did correctly, don't enable that option until Oliver has EGCC ready (hopefully towards the end of Feb is the scuttlebutt)Cheers,-Paul Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
February 8, 201016 yr One more question on this subject. Stansted was updated and I believe it is supposed to be AES compatible as well. Is this also one waiting for a future update? Thanks Andrew
February 8, 201016 yr Yes. It seems we are waiting for AES support for Manchester, Stansted and Edinburgh. :( My FS Videos
February 9, 201016 yr Author OK, when Manchester is ready for AES do I need to UNINSTALL "Manchester" and then put a check mark in the box that asks me if I have AES during the installation prosses? jerrycwo4
February 9, 201016 yr Jerry, there is no need to uninstall anything unless Gary finds some bugs, which I don't think will happen. You can get to your Options window from the Start Menu (UK2000 Scenery\UK2000 Manchester Xtreme FS2004\Options).Or, alternatively, you can get there directly via your FS9 folder (UK2000 scenery subfolder). There you have all the options to choose, including AES compatibility. Just don't touch it yet.
