150,000 miles of scenery and a HD hand-crafted airport, both which have taken 27 months between them to build, for $86 sounds like a fair price to me, but I am a little biased, hehe! I respect your comments about price though, perhaps save up the money needed and purchase it when you can afford it? We also have a free PNW demo coming next week. Speaking of price, Orbx was born as a company from freeware projects, and we continue to release payware quality addons for free. We also spawned the OZx team, which has released over 400 freeware photoreal airports in the last two years. Now, with regard to your native Portland we have some good news!I'm pleased to be able to announce a FREEWARE expansion pack for PNW - Portland CityThis will be a highly detailed photoreal expansion covering central Portland and will include 30cm/pixel resolution photoreal imagery, major buildings modeled in 3D, plus the famous bridges and many more POIs.The list of buildings to be modeled include Well Fargo Center, US Bancorp Tower, KOIN Center, PacWest Center, Fox Tower, Standard Insurance, John Ross Tower, The Ardea, Congress Center, Mark O Hatfield USA Courthouse, ODS Tower, Lloyd Center Tower, 1000 Broadway, Portland Plaza, One Main Place, Edith Green Building, Union Bank of Cali Tower, Twelve West, Umpqua Bank Tower, 200 Market, Harrison West Condo Tower, 22 Benson and many more buildings in the general Portland area.We anticipate this FREE expansion pack will be available before the middle of the year. This freeware is the first of many freeware addons for PNW, and I'm pleased to also confirm that the OZx team has already commenced planning for a number of airfields for their first PNW scenery pack as well.

Cheers,

John Venema

Wow, that's awesome news! Many thanks, in advance. Your company hasn't ceased to impress yet. If you need any more beta testers, let me know :)

final stages, just experimenting with the new autogen, 5 seasons, thats 2 winters + the others, Ive take shots of autumn, mild winter and hard winter, to give you an idea. This is a great little strip on the crest of a hill on an island, a logging camp close by, the area seems to be surrounded by many other Islands many of which have either seaplane bases or bush strips.cheersKenul13i.jpgul3yr.jpgul62A.jpg

Thanks JayKae,It's great that our North American cousins are now able to experience flying at home in much the same manner that we Aussies have over the past few years. All the best to the Orbx team and hopefully the success of PNW will lead to many more packages of FTX goodness for many other parts of the the world in the future.Cheers and all the best,
