March 5, 201016 yr hi pmdg team i had experienced an problem,in my flights. when the plane is cruizing on FL260,FL260 is cruize alttiude and then i get a windshear and the plane is on FL261,and holds FL261 and in the fmgc i enterred the cruize alt FL260 the plane dont descends to FL260(other planes do that)the plane does hold FL261.i dont think thats normalYunus Aktas
March 5, 201016 yr She should return to the cruise altitude set in the FMS and on the FCP ALT. A screen shot would help identify the problem. The most common reason for being at FL261 instead of FL260 is because when the FCP ALT is set if you overshoot to 26100 that value is put in the FMS. You have to verify that the cruise on INIT page is what you expect. Dan Downs KCRP
March 5, 201016 yr The FMC is changed to the maximum entered on the MCP selector if it is higher then the current FMC alt. So if you entered, 26000 in the FMC and then dial 26100 on the FCP, the FMC will be changed to 26100, even if you changed the MCP back to 26000. Paul Smith.
March 6, 201016 yr but i lett al the time the MCP selector at FL260I will try one more time, if when setting the FCP ALT to 26000 you accidently went to 26100 for a second or two, then changed it to 26000, then the FMS will be changed to FL261. That is one possiblity. The other possibilities probably need a screen shot to maybe spot the problem. Please sign your posts. Dan Downs KCRP
