March 22, 201016 yr EZDOK vs TRACK-IR ? BATTLE ?? :( No battles please !Agreed! We think the EZDOK product is very cool. I've already laid our constraints out a few times now, but to reiterate--we don't have any problems with your product or company. :D
April 5, 201016 yr Hi,I bought TRACK-IR 5 a few months ago and I thought it would change my whole flying experience, unfortunately to the worse. Unless you are able to keep your head movements limited it just spoils your whole experienceand even then you have to freeze view if you need to interact with the vc buttons, so I am being careful now beforespending any money on EZDOK.Jose De Campos Jose De Campos London

Unless you are able to keep your head movements limited it just spoils your whole experienceand even then you have to freeze view if you need to interact with the vc buttons, so I am being careful now beforespending any money on EZDOK.Jose De CamposI too bought trackIr about 1year ago, tried it for a few flights and dumped it.Track IR is not good for doing other things while flying, eg watching tv etc. The pluses of Trackir were less than the negatives for the way i fly.As for EzDok, i like the effect, but it takes a bit of tuning to get it right. I was quite impressed today when i tried a fligth at 16x speed, with the ezdok vibrations set to minnimum, the ezdok vibration effect with clouds racing past cockpit at 16x speed was very nice. In the defualt setting, the vibrations are far too high, and quickly started thinking refund, but when you pause fsx in vc mode, and use ezdok tuner, you can see vibration changes as you tune, this way you tune live. Its a nice effect on 40inch samsung win7-64 [email protected]. Nice program, but the settings could do with some major simplification if you not a numerical vibration expert.Thin its best to tune it using a fsrecoder saved flight so you can tune as the plane flies itself. This also help to replay landing as you tune the landing setup for ezdok. My trackir has been dumped year ago, but will keep exdok. Its important to say i dont use ezdok all phases of the flight, just when things are bit more relaxed, like climb cruise descents , rarley on takeoff/landing. And its easy to get ezdok out of way with PgDown key
April 5, 201016 yr I fail to see what all the excitement is about with Ezdok. If you have TrackIR I can't see how Ezdok would be necessary. If you back off the smoothness slider just a fraction in TIR you can simulate realistic cockpit shaking. To do other things you pause TIR and go and do them.Unless you are a videographer and have the need to mount a camera on the main gear left bogey door hatch or something.
