Beech Duke FS Build

Featured Replies

I want to make an accurate Aircraft Performance Profile of the REALAIR DUKE for FS Build, so I can quickly plan those IFR flights. Does anyone know where I can find a Tutorial on how to make such a thing? I'd die to have a profile for this plane, one doesn't exist so I will learn how to make one and make one, thanks.

Thanks! WOW looks like a huge task to do. I probably will do it though, and then upload it to the AVSIM Library, will be my first upload. I bought the actual POH for this plane from Esso Aircraft, it was only $30 which i thought was cheap, and it came with a nice checklist. This is by for (for me anyways) the best GA plane for FSX, I also use the RXP GNS WAAS XP so she can do all the IFR NAV stuff no problem, this plane works perfectly, never had problem with her. She fun to fly too, espcially those Engine Outs at v1. Don't forget to calculate your Acclerate-to-Stop-Distance...lol

Hey Jordan,I, like yourself am a Big fan of The RealAir Duke and I'm also looking into purchasing The RealityXP GNS.May I ask which one you chose? The 430 or 530? and why? Thanks very much Jordan.

I'm not Jordan, but let me offer an opinion :( The 530 has a bigger screen and is easier to work with. The 430, on the other hand, fits into some airplanes wherethe 530 does not, because the 430 is a half-height design. So, if it is just the Duke you are after, the 530 IMHO is the better choice.

Hey man, get the 530 for the Duke. Its has a huge screen and as for as FSX goes it's a lot more user friendly because of its size, they both do the exact same thing. It's expensive but once you fly with it you'll never fly those IFR flights without it. I wish someone would make GPS exactly like this but with updatable nav databases, and a utility to make your own nav data for the smaller fields that Navigraph doesn't support. The Nav Data from the 530 WAAS XP is from 2007, but I fly all over Australia and to date havn't come across anything difffernt then what is published. Mind you I stay away from fields like YSSY YBBM YMML etc, but for the smaller fields like YHBA YCDR YRED etc its a wonder. You will not be dissapointed by this thing. If a developer would make a GPS like this with updateable Nav Data I think they would make a killing, but hopefully someday someon will.

Wow,Bert,That is Stunning!!! Thanks for the screenshot.........SOLD!!!! Jordan,Thanks for the great info!Cheers!!

" I've got to add that RealAir is the only vendor who provides for seamless RXP GNS integration and the result is visually stunning!"Bert- the excellent Lotus Simulations L-39 also includes seamless RXP GNS integration.I use the 430 just because it is more often what you see in aircraft.
