March 23, 201016 yr I am using WOAI traffic, and find that sometimes the AI aircrafts simply vanishes. Also, switching view to an AI aircraft causes the scenery to become blur.Has anyone encountered these issues or know what is causing these? Harry Sung
March 23, 201016 yr I have used WOAI for years and never had much of a problem with it. But I don't pay much attention to the planes. As long as they are chugging away in the background I don't care. I think when you are jumping around from plane to plane you will always get blurry ground because FS has to change location so quickly for you. . March 23, 201016 yr If the planes land and there is no parking spot they will dissapear. ( paking spot has to be the right size), if they get stuck in a que for too long and dont move, they time out and dissapear. There used to be a fix for that but it stopped working in sp2 and hasnt being worked on since,
March 23, 201016 yr Author What you have described above all happened to me as well, plus sometimes they simply vanish in midflight :( Thanks for the explanation. Harry Sung

FSX does that to maintain performance. www.supertrafficboard.com

Also, switching view to an AI aircraft causes the scenery to become blur.Has anyone encountered these issues or know what is causing these?AI aircraft do disappear sometimes. It can happen when they are at a gate, ready to taxi, but either the destination is not clear (say a flightplan mentions a new airport that is not in the FSX airport database, it will then disappear as it cannot perform that flight) or the taxiway is broken due to faulty AFCAD files. Also, when they have been waiting in line for take off but the waiting takes too long to perform the flight in time, they disappear on the ground. FSX will reset them somewhere in mid air to make their flight to the destination. So, it has nothing to do with WOAI, but with normal AI procedure in FSX.Menno Menno i7-11700, 16GB, 1 TB SSD, 2 TB HDD, RTX 3070, Windows 11, MSFS 2020 DeLuxe, P3D 4.5
