March 31, 201016 yr I really did some searching but did not find the answers so I'll go ahead and post my questions here. Flaming is not only expected but encouraged!! :( 1. Where do the screen shots once taken get stored? (Where and What files are they?)(Assumption on taking a screen shot is (Shift V) FS9 help only says "V". :( 2. FS9 Configurator. I was trying to fiddle with it. I installed it ran the setup program but the darn program got installed somwhere. I dont know what the actual program is called or what folder its in. I went to Kens website and it says return in 10,000 minutes so that was a little longer than I wanted to wait. (Tonight anyway) :( 3. One of the reasons I wanted to try to work with FS9 Configurator was that I want to further dampen my "tiller" on my PIC 737 Wilco. I am running a Saitek X52 at the moment. I have the sensitivities to max low and it is too sensi for my liking on takeoff roll and while taxing. Is there a configuration code I could use or something? Im still a beginner there so if you can tell me what file where it is what to change would be GREAT. B) Thanks in advance! B) Respectfully, Jet
March 31, 201016 yr Here we go#1-FS9 does not have a built in screenshot function, gotta have FSX for that. Check out Screenhunter here - http://wisdom-soft.com/products/screenhunter_free.htm#2-Windows Explorer should find Program Files\Ken Salter\FS9 Configurator. If not, search your system for fs9configurator.exe#3-Not sure if that program can make that change for you.If it can't, go to Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\whatever-folder-the-737 is in, sorry I don't have it.In that folder you will find a file - aircraft.cfg. Make a backup copy, then open it with Notepad. Not the backup, the original.Look for a line - rudder_effectiveness = 1.0Try lowering that number by .1 and test.Let us know if you need more help.regards,Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.

We don't have another paint/photo application but it should work for those also. ben
March 31, 201016 yr Author After 10 or so runway taxi tests I found that rudder_effectiveness = .025 is what finally worked well. Pretty smooth. Respectfully, Jet

If OK, click on File/Save As, add a title, click on Type= JPeg. Screenshot will appear in Windows- My Pictures. To post on AVSIM, the pic may have to be reduced to conform- another simple trick within My Pictures.Alex Reid
