April 4, 201016 yr If anyone is interested I just purchased and installed last night. I have taken it out for a spin with no issues and generally decent performance.My machine specs are: C2D 6850@ 3.0, 4Gig ram, WinXP-SP3 with 3GB switch, 8800GT card with 512mb.Mark.My specs are almost identical to this and i can run the Concorde-X fine. For my system its comparable to any of the other high end planes previously mentioned. I have my PC and FSX tuned to Nick_N's guide and also use AlacrityPC and nearly always run it alongside Active Sky Evolution, FSCommander, Track IR, FSHostClient and Teamspeak (quite a strain on my 2 year old system as you can imagine). Yes it can be a bit of a struggle at JFK but it's definately very flyable. The only real issues i had were one CTD after i first installed that a reboot sorted, and i had to do a bit of Active Sky tweaking but it's great now.My only real critisism was that a tutorial really should have been given with the initial release as it really is a complicated and very different plane to most other addons, and frst timers i imagine would have a real hard time of it. Fortunately i have previously flown both the PSS and SSTSIM FS9 versions so the learning curve wasn't so bad. And i have also gleaned quite a few things from the excellent FSLabs forums which have helped tremendously. The guys over there do everything they can to help out, quite outstanding.In summary its been worth every penny of the
April 4, 201016 yr heynow i look like the jackass lol... with the new fsx.cfg edit i have around 40 fps in any aircraft including the Concorde-X.... Question.. i cannot get the auto pilot to switch on. ill have another stab at it 2moz.Concorde
