April 1, 201016 yr Hey guys, Im not to good with spelling so be gentle :).. i saw that alot of you have been looking at the flightsim Lab's Concorde-X.. i went and Paid for this last night... Quite alot of Money 55 Pounds after all the charges ect.. But i love Concorde...First the Install seemd to go well But soon as FS started BOOM problems Began. Missing files that i found out that i need'd to download other files such as the INS ( freeware ) in order to run this sucker..after about 3 crash's FSX then started to Run the Concorde... at Defult EGLL with no Addons (Clean install) all seems well... got around 24FPS.. but then around 20 secconds later.. BOOM Problems Started.. CDT , Black screens. Loading Problems ect.. its a hit and miss when loading this aircract... you have 80% chance of it loading right. the panel seems to Drain the System after it being loaded around 30 seccondsthe DLL's to this aircraft... thay load just like the PMDG and when you start the sim in the concorde ull get around 24 FPS but after about 2 mins it drops to around 9 FPS!!!!! NO GOOD TO ME!.outside views ect all seem fine. only 2D and VC are affected by the major FPS drop.the webpage and fourms seem to be going down alot aswell!... iv spent around 3 hrs just trying to get on there fourms.. thay seem to work on and off ( But we all get servers problems so its no big deal )the Support on the Fourms so far has been Verry Good. quick replys from admins with help and tupport... For me this Concorde is unflyble at the moment due to the Mass amount of Power that it needs to run.. I have tested the Concorde at Aerosoft EGLL and Defult EGLL.. at both Airports i get 9FPS in VC in concorde but around 23 In others like the PMDG or the Capsim...There are also other bugs that are listen on the fourms but i havent yet seen them as i cannot fly it :-(.My system is above what thay recomend but i get the feeling thats whats going to be blamed by fslabs.AMD 6000+Nvidia GForce FX260 896Gddr34Gig RamJust wanted to let you all knw what its like.... Nice Bird.. Looks Great Inside and out but unflyble for me.right now i feel like iv lost 55 pounds :(RegardsTest Pilot1216

Speedbird5, nice name, you must really like the concorde. Welcome to Avsim. It's an absolute shame that you are having every single problem posted on the concorde forums. Seems like a nightmare.I for one am having a wonderfull time with the concorde. The only problem I seem to be having is a misirected registry value which was my fault, as I fixed it a few days ago. I'm sure if you post over at FSLabs they will do thier best to help you get everything sorted. By the way, you did a framerate comparison to some of the other PMDG aircraft. Which PMDG aircraft do ya have, and do you have the FS2004 Concorde?JB Buzz313th
April 1, 201016 yr hi JB, thank you for the welcome :-)yeah i have a real soft spot for Concorde, i got this as andrew wilson was part of the team n he did a cracking job on the last 2.i am still waiting for a reply from them on there fourms, lets hope thay can find a way of taking less stress from the panel.. i get around 20-25 fps at aerosoft EGLL with the PMDG 747/capsim727 with REX and Flight1 ground textures no stutters nothing.... at defult EGLL with this concorde i start at 20 (ish) but it soons drops to 8-9 after around 30 secconds... But i do agree this Bird is Nice hens why i went n spent 55 pounds on it!. lolWether i decide to keep it is up to them. if its not going to work on my system and its stated on the webpage that im way above the min spek then its no good to me n ill just apply to the CC company n clame it back... ( there are ways ) but i cannot Afforde to loose 55 pounds on nothing.. maybe thay should do a try b4 u buy? i just formatted and now doing a clean install... see if that works..Speedbird.

Try the old cfg file and if it doesnt help then go back to your copied one... This isn't particular to the Concorde, but at one point a month or so back something must have corrupted my cfg file as refreshing it gave me my good FPS back..JB Buzz313th

April 3, 201016 yr OK some info if any of you want this Aircraft,Alltho it looks Verry Good it has many many Bugs... alot of users have reported CDT / Texture problems / Crap FPS ( or shall i say good FPS but it drops from 25 to 7 in VC after you open few panels up.. the Rudder is a compleat Joke as 1 person stated on the webpage. If i take a step back i can see that this concorde has been Rushed at the verry End.. Why?? i dont knw but the Cost of 56 Pounds kinda says that want your money real bad...One person said " Okay. So im new here and sadly have to start my first post on a rant. Concorde X is average! I am experiancing serious bugs which causes me to lose all ground, sky and cloud textures. Also I Constantlty get asking me to re-adjust screen resaloution. Next it Destroys all scenery for the next flight. And finaly Gagues dissapering at night. Another problem I am experiancing is rudder over yaw. So flight dynamics are an absolute joke! Basicly all i'm saying that for
April 3, 201016 yr I completely agree. I paid for this aircraft and what a waste of money it turned out to be.It doesn't even work! It crashes all the time, has a bad FPS. Rudder is more like a toy, the model itself looks good, but the way it was put together and the way it works withFSX is very poor. If you look on their webpage/support fourm, alot of people have had this Crashing/Texture/FPS problem. Why didn't FSLab see any of this and warn people that you need an extremely high performence system to run this thing?Support on the fourms was good, but I was outraged with Lefteris Kalamaras post to a Customer (Mr Balls)... that's just insulting him after he paid them! People have a right to make a complaint about a Product if they dont like it or find it's faulty or misadvertised.its a new Company so the first few months are Important but Bashing customers because FSLabs dont like what they hearis a bad start In my opinion and the posts I have about Lefteris Kalamaras makes me raise a eyebrow. They seem to have some bad history.Let me remind you that this aircraft costs

April 3, 201016 yr The Concorde works great on my machine. Other than a few little issues that are being ironed out in SP1, I am not having any problems at all. Also, I have been checking out the support forum, and I think the support from the devs has been excellent.
April 3, 201016 yr I was eager to get this one, but was a bit afraid of reported issues. Now this thread saved my 70 bucks. Thanks Regards, Radek

April 3, 201016 yr ...SO if you have the concorde and dont like it plz dont goto the fourms and say this or you might get bannd or attacked in the same mannor by the Owner of the Bird and Ex-PMDG Guy. Is all this worth 56 pounds when you can get a Bug Free aircraft at well under harf the price!..and not attacked by the person you are paying!!...I think it depends on how you say it.All complex add on aircraft that I've purchased have had some issues on the initial release. After one or two service releases most aircraft function as intended. IMO you should avoid to buy first version add ons if you can't hande the disappointment. Some aircraft never reach an acceptable level of quality (remember the Aviograsf Airbus?)Lefteris have posted minimum and recommended pc hardware and your hardware is below that recommendation. If the model is too demanding for your hardware you might try to ask for a refund.Lefteris and other developers need positive feedback. Show some patience and try to work out your problems in a civil manner. But I'll guess that this advice comes a bit late.
April 3, 201016 yr Just on my side I can report that the Concorde is running very well here. There are bugs indeed, but just minor things, no CTDs etc which makes that bird unflyable.I have had a CTD at the first startup and some due to a maybe corrupted flightplan converter for the CIVA.But all these haven't happend again and I can have much fun with this bird. And I don't have any texture corruptions like I have with PMDG aircraftsMy System:W7 64 bit, 6 gig RAM8800GTS 640Q6600 @ 3,4 ghzAccPackSo, I think its not fair to warn other users and state that it isn't working. It isn't working on some systems, yesEven my framerate is better than with MD11 for example...I understand the frustation as I had CTDs etc with other addons (e.g. PMDG J41) and the most users haven't had them. But all issues can be solved over time as no software can suit all systems from release on.Please be patient and fair and trust the support from FlightSimLabs! April 3, 201016 yr Hiya,If your Concorde works then your a verry Lucky man!.. some of the Bugs are strange i would admit.. i just found out that if you remove the sound.dll File that will help, But only a little.. so now i have no panel sound atall or working sound such as Clicks , warnning sounds , APU ect.... this is Fslabs Fix to the problem... Loose a major part of the pack.. also you cannot load the Aircraft from the FSX menu.. you must load up in defult on the ground n then load the bird... If yout lucky it will load n not hang..dont get me wrong the Aircraft looks and when i first load up n about 5 crash's later.. the bird i get around 25-40 FPS in VC mode and around 75 Fps in ext or 2D panel mode. but in VC nothing stable infact its a compleat Mess!!!!... .Its when i start to switch evreything on it starts to drop big time!...... if you leave it in VC mode for around 10 mins with out touching anything all powerd up it will get back up to 25-30 Slowley!!!!! even had 50 FPS once so my system dose not have the problem that fslabs keep saying... But it will drop down to 9-5 FPS as soon as you get in the Air... and this is all defult settings on a High end PC... The FPS will Fluctuate from 6 FPS to 30 FPS while in the Air on the ground with out touching anything... so the Panel seems to be doing alot of work and taking evreything out of the computer.. It's a buggy Aircraft But for that Price i would expect a more polite Customer services From the boss given hes Past history.end of the day as it stands the Bird is of no use to me and quite alot of other people... from the page it looks verry pro and alot of time was spent on it.... the problem is i just dont see it.. the Rudder? the FPS? the Crash's? the DLL Problems? the missing File that u need to download, the conflict between Windows 64 and the panel, Missing Textures, High Load on Ram and CPU, some textuers on the panel are that bad you cannot even see the writing below telling you what that switch dose, the Screen rez problem with alot of users, now saying we are gonna loose panel sound to make up for the High usage of the panel, Crash to Desk top, CDT after passing FL450... how can FSlabs see all this and say its Ready for release?????
