April 12, 201016 yr Like everyone else I'm always trying to improve my Flight Sim ( FS 2004), but this latest "up version" has proved too much for me. I tried for a couple weeks to program the FMS (with I'm told was the MAIN reason to "up-version" from V1 to V2), hold a constant speed and to fly a GPS track line. ( I put a Garmin 500 GPS into the v2). With v2 I couldn't do any of those, BUT with v1 I can and do, do ALL of those. I know they improved to v2 for certain people that wanted a higher level of realism, but it was just too much for me. I've flown for 12 years without a FMS (FMC) and I guess that I can do without it now. I'm really, really happy flying the v1 but I will miss the nice "VIP" sitting in the 4th seat. She was sweet!.I think some where along the line I read that Eaglesoft has a 30 day money back guarantee if your not happy with one of their products. Can someone verify that? Thanks jerrycwo4
April 12, 201016 yr Commercial Member Putting the Garmin in was of no value. The autopilot will never, ever recognize it. There is no auto-throttle... the pilot's required to do his job. :(Did you watch these videos?http://www.youtube.com/user/CXAviatorDid you read the documentation?Yes, there's a refund policy. April 12, 201016 yr Author Did both of those but I just couldn't get it to work for me. NO Problem ! I love the v1 and will keep on flying it. Could you please tell me how to obtain the refund? Thanks for your help. I"m still a happy, satisfied Eaglesoft customer with v1. jerrycwo4

April 13, 201016 yr I guess you are better of with an old jet, like the BAC or 742, and perhaps even better of with a Connie ?
April 15, 201016 yr Author No. As I originally stated, " I'm really, really happy flying the v1 but I will miss the nice "VIP" sitting in the 4th seat. She was sweet!."PS I do have and also fly the "Connie"
April 15, 201016 yr No. As I originally stated, " I'm really, really happy flying the v1 but I will miss the nice "VIP" sitting in the 4th seat. This is covered in the manual.I really think you have given up too easily on this excellent add-on.All the best, Graeme Butler
April 16, 201016 yr You can fly it without using anything except old school navigation (vor, adr, ils etc). That's what I do most of the time. It's such a sweet handling aircraft. Nothing wrong with a little eye candy too!
