Thanks in advance for anyones help.I recently upgraded my hardrive to a newer one. I cloned the old harddrive to the new one. Everything seemed to be running fine until today. FS9 every few minutes will freeze then will unfreeze. Sometimes I also get weird and distorted graphics (see pic). I thought maybe it was a graphics driver problem so I un-installed to driver then re-installed it. Still no go. Any ideas? Thanks.

Well I read the post title "need some help" and thought , go on I'll bite .Then I opened your post and saw your screenshot .I honestly said #####!! :( under my breath , I have never seen anything that comes close to that!.I guess if it were me in your position , and you are happy that your new HD is okay ,your graphic drivers are okay ,and your PC is running as it should ....... well I would just bin that install and start over.This is obviously NOT what you want to read , but if nothing else this reply keeps your question on the first page a little longer , and perhaps someone will have a clue as to what exactly is going on (wrong) with your system.Good luck Buddy ,I have a feeling you may need it

Err I'm on the same boat as lgvpilot1... Only once have I had a similar problem and that involved the placement of panel bitmaps on the desert north of Salt Lake City, this was also on my old computer that was dieing of hard drive failure. And trying to navigate VFR with the King Air panel popping up is not easy. Something makes me believe either FS itself or a texture is corrupted and now misreading files. Full reinstall recommended. Thanks for all of your replies. After hours of testing hardware, settings, etc.., it came down to something as simple as my GPU (9800GT) didnt like the settings I had in Nhancer. Works great now. :(

you should have tried flying "up" to ground level before fixing it :(
