May 4, 201016 yr Hi, I was wondering if would it be possible to have more fluid altitudes assigments in RC5? Now usuall we get - altitude x, then altitude y etx. I know that traffic is passed to other types of controls and durring climb usuall it is getting smooth, but... for landing it is always FL11 or FL12 and then contact approach. The case is that perhaps we could get clearance from higher already to lower and contact approach when decending thru without levelling on it. Tom Link

August 8, 201015 yr What about departure altitudes? In my RC experience i've been told only this:Initial climb ( 5000-9000)Fl 150 (VERY rarely Fl120 before this)Fl 230Fl 290Cruise altitudeWill you implement a more flexible system for departure? In crowded areas ( such as London) controllers usually issue 1000 ft increments due to separations, if I'm right Not to mention SID altitudesCan't wait for v5Regards Specs: Windows 7 64bit / Intel Core i5-3550 @3.30 GHz / 8.00 Gb RAM / ATI Radeon HD 7800 2Gb
August 8, 201015 yr The whole departure procedure and options has been revised and similar choices will be in arrival. They are much more advanced with more user preflight control. If in the controller tab you choose a departure of no altitude restrictions you choose your own navigation and altitudes for the first 30 nm.
