May 8, 201016 yr I've been experimenting with Fraps and the ATR72-500 from Flight 1 lately to put together a montage of videos from a TJSJ->TNCM flight I did on Friday. Unlike production videos, I record everything.. including obvious mistakes I make during flight. Since I have 6 videos currently in place, I didn't really want to embed them all here if I don't have to.You can check out my growth in video making by visiting:http://www.fs9blog.comI also have a youtube channel at: http://www.youtube.com/fs9blogdotcom
May 28, 201016 yr Nice, but leave the 'music' out!hehe, I know what you mean...I end up skipping over 90% of the flightsim related videos on youtube (which is a real shame) solely because they all have loud background music that gets in the way of hearing the in-game sounds. Why everyone feels the need to drown out the sim sounds with annoying music I'll never understand...but that's just me, and obviously there must be alot of folks who rather hear the music I suppose. May 29, 201016 yr I assume the recorded framerate of the bounced landing is a lot lower than the framerate in the sim? May 29, 201016 yr Author I assume the recorded framerate of the bounced landing is a lot lower than the framerate in the sim?Yeah. I typically hide the cursor when doing recordings because there's sometimes a 1 to 2 second delay between when I click on something and when you actually hear it during play back. Not sure if that's a Fraps thing or my computer.
