May 13, 201016 yr My joystick is currently falling apart, and while I love it, I think its probably time to move on to a new one. My current joystick is a Saitek Pro throttle/joystick. What do you people recommend as far as that goes?
May 13, 201016 yr Commercial Member I have a Saitek Cyborg X (apparently now called the Cyborg F.L.Y. 5), it has an actual wheel you can use for trim at the top of the stick, which works really well.Just a warning if you buy one though, the rudder axis on my first one broke (was commanding full right without even moving the stick) and Saitek/Madcatz would not give me support for it because I no longer had the original purchase receipt. I had to buy a whole new one a couple weeks ago. Pretty stupid policy, so save your receipt just in case. May 13, 201016 yr I've found my Logitech 3D Pro is really good for longevity, I'm on my second one after about eight years or so. I like the smooth action on all axes too which makes a difference in a tricky situation. Mike Beckwith
May 13, 201016 yr Is that the Saitek X-52 Pro hotas setup you're talking about? That's what I use, and I love it. Get another! :) Paul Skol
May 13, 201016 yr Ok, I'm probably preaching to the unconvertible - but the X52 Pro is a fantastic piece of kit.The Cyborg will save you about Paul Skol

I have the wheel programmed to zoom in and out using Profiler and trim with the shift (trigger) button. The only thing that Saitek forgot was the Pinkie (shift switch) as on the x52.jja Jim Allen[email protected]SkyPilot Software home of FSXAssist / P3DAssist
