Airport enhancements

Featured Replies

Hi gents,I fly only in North America and mainly in the U.S. I'm wondering if there is a scenery package that provides enhanced airport scenery detail for the major hubs in FSX. Any recommendations? Thanks very much,Grandpa

Real Environment X adds some really nice ground textures. Runways actually look like runways, taxiways look like taxiways, and the parking positions have dark oil and grease

fullterrain.com have a Pacific North West package, could enhance your experience.

Self-advertisment!!! :(Btw. FSX does really nice with some photoscenery - not huge coverage except it's really big (GB-sized), try Megascenery or Bluesky.

Gramps, I'm not aware of one package that covers all major US hubs, but individual major airport sceneries are available from FlyTampa and FSDreamTeam in addition to a lot of free scenery in the AVSIM library. I'm not familiar with the FlyTampa or FSDreamTeam offerings since I've limited my flying to GA between intermediate to small airports and limit scenery development to these airports in Florida.

You really can't go wrong with FTX,and they're having a sale till end of May!! PNW,Stark's Twin Oaks[From The very famous Scenery designer Mr Bill Womack] and Darrington Municiple will really add fantastic immersion to your FSX experience. check them out here........http://fullterrain.com/
