ATC_Type= and ATC_Model= List

Featured Replies

Is there any place that has an updated FSX list for the atc_model= and atc_type= entries in the aircraft.cfg? I have an old FS2002 list but there are a lot of newer type plane entries missing. Thanks, regards, Bob.

Gee Bob, I see you were overwhelmed with replies (not!). I too have been researching this for someone else today and found your post with zero replies... :rolleyes:

Nevermid, realized you didn't need a description. I'm not aware a specific list, but there was a list of parking radius for aircraft types, that would probably give you what you need, but I don't remember the link or if it still exists!

Thanks

Oddly enough, the only "official source" for this information was the old FS9 ATC Voicepack SDK that used to be available...

...but no longer is since the demise of ACES. I used to have it on my development machinge, but when it's hard drive failed... :blush:

I have the FS2004 ATC Voicepack Setup SDK. If anyone would like to have it send a PM.

Thanks Bill, Tom and John. I really do appreciate the help.I found my old FS2004 SDK. The ATC SDK has a list of all the FS2004 airline names, aircraft types, and aircraft models. Great!

There is a good program (vpedit) that lists all the voices in FS9 and FSX and actually allows you to play them as selected. I wish there was some way to extract the list from vpedit and put it in a text file or an Excel spreadsheet file. Maybe some expert could figure out how. That would be GREAT! Bob.

Bob, have you looked at the documents for EditVoicePack? IIRC, all of the a/c manufactures, model names, etc. have already been listed in a text file...

Hi Bill. No I have not. Thanks. I'll look at it. Regard, Bob.

Update: I looked at my EVP4 folder and I don't see any text file. Am I missing something? Can you, or anyone, please give me the filename? Bob.

Bob, I have a list of the default aircraft manufacturers, IACO Codes, and Voice Calls in Excel 97 spreadsheet format. All 788 of 'em...

PM me with an email address if you'd like a copy.
