the cursor is here when i type. there is a keyboard setting in control panel, to hide the cursor while typing, but that doesn't seem to fit your issue.jd

Are you using FireFox? I've found that with FF 3.6.3 I have NO cursor in the box where you type a reply. I end up using IE to answer posts (like this <G>).

Firefox (latest version--whatever that is today) works fine for me.

Many thanks. I updated Firefox and now have a cursor except on this @$^%##@ laptop. Guess it needs an update too.

Strange! FF (latest version de jour since it says no updates) still won't show a cursor in the reply box so I'm using IE8. Oh, well. Maybe it will work on the next update.
