FS9 keeps minimizing in Win7 64bit. I have installed FS9 sucessfully in WIN 7 64bit. I got all the addins from my old machine (Win XP) to install. Now the machine after a few seconds keeps minimizing without touching any mouse of joystick. I have installed the lastest driver for my video card (Nvidia Quadro 4600 workstation card). I do not think any other application is running which would put the game into minimising.Any recommendations?

check that "minimize on task switch" option is UNchecked. If it is unchecked, then look for heat issues. Also check in the event viewer and see if anything is showing there.After it minimizes, can you easily restore it and continue flying?Vic

I believe you will find the setting is "pause on task switch" - not "mimimize on task switch" - a bit of a difference.If there indeed is a "minimize on task switch" option in FS2004, I have never run across it. :(

I'm having the same problem with FSX. Suddenly the screen will go black and the sound will cut off. If I click, I get to my desktop. If I click on the FSX icon at the bottom of the screen everything goes black again. If I start Task Manager I can see that FSX is running, and can switch tasks to it. Any ideas what's going on?
