Installed Orbx FTX Global about a month ago, best software I've added period. I have UTX, GEX NA, GSX, many addon airports, both payware and freeware, including several UK 2000 scenery, some I've made myself and all work great. Not a FPS hog in any way. Looks better without photo scenery. Removed some Taubet photo payware and Orbx looks better. Lots of free off the beaten track, airports worldwide. Snap it up looks great

In some addon airport sceneries, airplanes casting shadows on ground will result in losing some WOAI AI aircraft in DX10. In addition some apron pavements on the ground don't show shadows until plane hits taxiways.

Are you running Ultimate Terrain X for US? If so go to menu on top to 'advanced' and then to 'Terrain' and to bottom "Modify Status of repositioned airports" and disable KALB. worked for me. also check if your using DX10

I fly FSX with DX10 checked. Apparently this scenry cannot work with DX10. In addition there is an elevation issue that can only be solved with deleted the runway lighting BGL. No help from developer at all. People who have bought this product are getting no help from anyone at Thai Creations ande I would not recommend buying this product at all.

After installing the new Thai Creations Mumbai International Airport, the jetways are nowhere to be seen. I've tried to re-install several times, looked at the objects and bgl's in the Scenery folder but cannot understand the non-appearance. This developer does not have a website with support but instead has a facebook page? Cannot get a response. Anyone else have this similar problem in this scenery or others

Thanks Hightower that did the trick. UTX can be somewhat tricky as there was a few other airport list but did not have the same problem elsewhere.

The scenery is Albany International Airport KALB_301546.zip Tyler Lawrence. I do not own AFX but sounds like a good idea. I tried to delete the terminal object using ADEX in the APX28160.bgl file but it did nothing. Didn't save it to file. Something is allowing default terminal and not allowing jetways. Too bad nice scenery.

I've installed a very nice new freeware KALB addon scenery and no matter what I try I cannot get rid of the default terminal building. When I start FSX at a gate at KALB, there are no jetways and my plane is half in the old terminal building. I've tried both excluding it and then deleting it from the basic airport bgl using ADEX with no success. , I searched for duplicate AFCADs but with no success. Seems there is ghost hiding somewhere. any suggestions?

I have found the solution thanks to these formums. I removed all of my addon planes and slowly re-installed them. The same error was occuring, busy cursor and panel frozen. Whaat I discovered was I had FS Panel Studio installed and FS9 was trying to load a panel thru FS Panel Studio and could not find the required path. Unfortunely the only solution to this was to reload the original panel from original ZIP files and then modify panel.Thanks again for you help

I have followed the procedure of not putting the FS program in 'Program Files' and installed inthe C: root. System seemed to work until addon planes wer added (copied into FS directory "Aircraft' directory. Will try to delete all addons and add one at time. Stay tuned

I have now narrowed down this busy cursor. I can start FS9 in WIN7 64bit using standard FS9 aircraft. Will actually fly even with add on scenery. As soon as I change to an addon plane the busy cursor (revolving blue ring) comes on the screen and doesn't allow me to use any mouse clicks in the cockpit rendering the simulator useless. I'm not quite sure how to troubleshoot this problem since it involves only addon aircraft. I was thinking that I would attack the problem as followsdelete all addon aircraft and add one by one; if that doesn't work I will remove all addon gauges and reload one by one.If that doesn't work I will uninstall FS9 and reload (dread this step).If these steps don't work I may have to buy a copy of FSX and start all over unless someone has any better ideas.Please help

I can open FS9 and select a plane and a flight plan but when I get into the 2D cockpit or spot view I get the round blue busy cursor constantly and the simulator does not allow me to use the mouse to select or change numbers in the autopilot. I have checked the applications and services running and closed them one by one with no change. FS9 keeps minimizing in Win7 64bit. I have installed FS9 sucessfully in WIN 7 64bit. I got all the addins from my old machine (Win XP) to install. Now the machine after a few seconds keeps minimizing without touching any mouse of joystick. I have installed the lastest driver for my video card (Nvidia Quadro 4600 workstation card). I do not think any other application is running which would put the game into minimising.Any recommendations?

I want to install FS9 with all my addons on this computer with the possibility of later trying FSX. I have installed the Haifa airport LLHA Ver 10a and the North Israel Landclass so as to allow me to fly to and from this airport. When I go to the airport I find a telephone pole on the western end of the runway.I have tried to remove this series of telephone poles but with no sucess. They are not in the airports .BGL's and I cannot detect where they may be contained with the landclass files.I have tried to install an exclusion program called "Exclusion Box" which creates an object with Instant Scenery but do not know where to put this file nor how to operate this object placement or exclusion.any help would be appreciated.

I installed the Airport Chart Viewer program into various panels as required by the instructions with no problem. However I am having a problem with getting the panel icon to work after installation. I used Flight 1 FS Panel Studio to install the icon (CV-Icon.cab) on various panels but cannot get it to open the Airport Chart Viewer program while I am flying. The icon appears but is non-functional Any advice would be helpful since it looks like a good programThanks
