The BP=0 effect

FSX.cfg without BP=0: [8,11 fps]FSX.cfg with BP=0 : [21,29 fps]This is on a saved flight, at 2.000ft, external view over Rotterdam harbour with the awesome NL2000 V4.0 scenery.Since the new nVidia beta driver I was not using BP=0 anymore because of some artifacts with Orbx PNW.But because I really wanted to enjoy NL2000 but was getting something like a beautiful slideshow I thought why not trying this good old BP=0 tweak...And bingo! the scenery is smooth as silk -with many sliders in the middle though-.(this is a very detailed photoreal scenery with autogen)

David,I have similar results except that for the extreme scenery blur when approaching a destination large complex airport. Not sure if someone has resolved that.Shez

Shez, do you mean with every complex airport or using NL2000 only?I have resolved the blurry problem using AA 8xS with driver 257.15

Not NL2000 but just trying a flight from KONT to KLAX causes KLAX and surrounds to blur badly. But maybe my setup is primitive compared to yours. C2D E6750, 9800GTX+ 2MB RAM...older drivers.Maybe the new drivers might help?Shez

Hi David, did you try already maxing out the sliders? the initial nVidia driver for the 480 was very unstable (BP=0 or not) but the latest BETA is VERY stable so far, with BP=0 is absolutely a wonderful.

My BP=0 effect: hard studders followed by a complete lockup requiring a task manager abort :( . Not too worried about it though, performance is pretty sweet with BP=160000...whatever...
