I was just curious about something that I have noticed. I have lots of add on airports, use traffic x and world of ai, super traffic board and have all the latest afcads installed but I don't see a lot of movements at the airports. I have plenty of traffic but do not have long lines waiting for takeoff and lots of planes moving around like in fs2004. I guess that it is a good thing but it's something I'm not used to. For example at EDDF I have about 3 planes lined up for takeoff. In fs2004 I had so many planes lined up that it was backing up the gates and causing slowups. I don't want that volume but more realistic and by the way the new EHAM is also very quiet. I have the traffic all at 100% so it's not that but what could it be? Maybe it's all in my head but have any of you notice the same thing? thanks guys.

Nope: I use MyTrafficX v5.3 and, last night, with 35% airline at Seattle I had six ahead of me with a number on their way in. Since purchasing this I have never had an issue with too little traffic of any kind anywhere, and by the time I'm pushed back and started - there's a queue.

HelloCheck that you have no FS9 type traffic bgl's installed as these will interfere with your FSX traffic.Or just buy MyTrafficX 5.3 pro and never have to worry about traffic files again.

Just to clarify -FS9 format aircraft Traffic files will work just fine in FSX - however they will stop the display of all FSX aircraft format traffic files.FSX can use either format - BUT not at the same time. To get everything working, you do need to convert any FS9 format files you may have installed into FSX format files.Many of us use the converter which is built into Don Grovestine's excellent (free) AI Flight Planner utility. It is on the file menu.The latest version of AIFP can be found here:http://members.shaw.ca/aifp/Hope that helps.

Well I did convert all my fs9 traffic files to fsx, it was the only way to have traffic x and world of ai to play nice together. That is a very nice program to use but do you think it is because of the conversion. Also, I had Mytraffic in the early days but didn't like the way the planes looked so I changed over to just flight traffic. Will my traffic give me more than traffic x and then I will have more traffic or will it just be the same type of thing. Thanks
