Help ! Sound problem

Featured Replies

Started FSX all normal but I now have no sound. Cycled the "Q" no help. All drivers have now beenupdated, video, sound. I updated DirectX also. Sim looks great runs perfect, but no sound. Deleted the.cfg file too. I have tried selecting the specific sound device under the sound tab. Sound works in everything else, video, music, etc. No sound in FSX only. Any suggestions?Windows 7 64i79g ramnvidia geforce gt 230midt hd sound

Have you checked your system sound dialogue to be sure wav files have not been set to mute?

-------------------------------------------------I suggest you reinstall W7 sound drivers. Sometimes they corrupt. I had this issue once...reinstalled, and carried on as normal.

Reboot your PC. I have had this before and that worked for me.

If like me your having problems keeping the sound volumes stable with FSX Windows 7, try this. It worked for me. Open Control Panel/Sound/Communications, Choose the "Do Nothing" option then Apply. I guess it's reading the ATC as a phone transmission.
